Set call forwarding

Call forwarding allows you to redirect incoming phone calls (not Teams calls) to voicemail, an external number, or another contact.

  1. Select  Select to see more options next to your profile picture at the top of Teams.
  2. Then choose Settings > Calls Call tab icon.
  3. Under Call answering rules > Calls ring me or Forward my calls..choose between redirecting calls to voicemail and forwarding them as desired. The toggle is to ring me and if unanswered to forward to voicemail by default.

Note: If you do not see this option in your call settings, it's likely that this feature has not been enabled by your IT admin. Contact them to learn more.

  1. To forward calls to an external number> Select Forward my calls and select from the dropdown list: New number or contact:
