How to Join a Zoom Meeting from the Touchpad

 

This guide explains how to use the Touchpad (Teams Room) system to connect to a Zoom meeting using a meeting ID and passcode.

 

Step 1 – Open the Join with an ID Option

  1. On the Touchpad home screen, look for the Join with an IDbutton.
    • The icon looks like a # symbol (see Image 1).
  2. Tap Join with an ID to continue.

Step 2 – Select the Meeting Provider

  1. A new screen will appear asking you to select a meeting provider.
  2. Tap the Meeting Provider dropdown menu.
  3. Select Zoom from the list.

Step 3 – Enter the Zoom Meeting Details

  1. After selecting Zoom, two text fields will appear.
    • Meeting ID – Enter the Zoom Meeting ID provided in your meeting invite.
    • Meeting Passcode – Enter the passcode from the invite.

Step 4 – Join the Meeting

  1. Once both the Meeting ID and Passcode are entered, the Join meeting button will become active.
  2. Tap Join meeting to connect to Zoom.
  3. The system will now connect you directly to your Zoom meeting.
